“Lina Bo Bardi: The Poetics of Survival,” designed by OPEN Architecture, opened to the public on July 25 at the Power Station of Art in Shanghai. With a profound resonance with the work and life of the legendary Italian-Brazilian architect, OPEN Architecture conducts the design for Lina’s first major exhibition in China, which is curated by Renato Anelli, Vice President of the Instituto Bardi’s Board. Occupying the ground-floor gallery space and extending into the PSA lobby, “The Poetics of Survival” weaves together the multiplicity of Lina’s design work, ideas, and life, presenting them in various media and modes of presentation against the social background of her time. The exhibition is on view from July 25 to October 25, 2026.
