OPEN's founding partner Li Hu was invited to speak at the BANK Gallery's latest panel discussion in Shanghai on August 25, held in tandem with a group exhibition paying tribute to the legendary Lebbeus Woods and featuring several of OPEN’s projects. The panel probed the future of art and architectural design in a creative environment increasingly swayed by political whim and technological advancement. Besides Li Hu, panel speakers included Aric Chen, lead curator for Design and Architecture at M+ Art Museum; Rossana Hu, founding partner of Neri&Hu Design and Research Office; Lu Xun, director and owner of the Sifang Art Museum; and Nabuqi, a Beijing-based artist and sculptor.
